Holiday Schedule 2008 (Revised 2/25/2008)
The following holiday schedule will be followed in 2008. SDSU Research Foundation offices will be closed on all of the following dates:
- New Year's Day – Tuesday, January 1, 2008
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Monday, January 21, 2008
- Cesar Chavez Day – Monday, March 31, 2008
- Memorial Day – Monday, May 26, 2008
- Independence Day – Friday, July 4, 2008
- Labor Day – Monday, September 1, 2008
- Veterans Day – Tuesday, November 11, 2008
- Thanksgiving Break – Thursday, November 27, 2008 and
Friday, November 28, 2008 - Winter Break – Tuesday, December 23, 2008 (half-day)
Wednesday, December 24, 2008 through Friday, December 26, 2008 and
Monday, December 29, 2008
New Year's Day 2009 will be observed Thursday, January 1, 2009.
There may be minimum staffing necessary in some areas during Winter Break.
Please note that offices will remain open on Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Admission's Day and Columbus Day. SDSU Research Foundation will close offices November 28, and December 24, 26, and 29 in lieu of these holidays. Eligible employees therefore do not accrue holiday credit for hours worked on the standard holiday. The in-lieu holidays will be treated as the regular holidays.
The personal holiday bank will be credited in January of each year for eligible employees.
