Holiday Schedule for 2009
The following holiday schedule will be followed in 2009. SDSU Research Foundation offices will be closed on all of the following dates:
- New Year's Day – Thursday, January 1, 2009
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Monday, January 19, 2009
- Cesar Chavez Day – Tuesday, March 31, 2009
- Memorial Day – Monday, May 25, 2009
- Independence Day – Friday, July 3, 2009
- Labor Day – Monday, September 7, 2009
- Veterans Day – Wednesday, November 11, 2009
- Thanksgiving Break – Thursday, November 26, 2009 and
Friday, November 27, 2009 - Winter Break – Wednesday, December 23, 2009 (half-day),
Thursday, December 24, 2009, Friday, December 25, 2009, Monday, December 28, 2009 and Tuesday, December 29, 2009
New Year's Day 2010 will be observed Friday, January 1, 2010.
There may be minimum staffing necessary in some areas during Winter Break.
Please note that offices will remain open on Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Admission's Day and Columbus Day. SDSU Research Foundation will close offices November 27, and December 24, 28, and 29 in lieu of these holidays. Eligible employees therefore do not accrue holiday credit for hours worked on the standard holiday. The in-lieu holidays will be treated as the regular holidays.
The personal holiday bank will be credited in January of each year for eligible employees.
