Holiday Schedule for 2012
The following holiday schedule will be followed in 2012. SDSU Research Foundation offices will be closed on all of the following dates:
- New Year's Day – Monday, January 2, 2012
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Monday, January 16, 2012
- Cesar Chavez Day – Friday, March 30, 2012
- Memorial Day – Monday, May 28, 2012
- Independence Day – Wednesday, July 4, 2012
- Labor Day – Monday, September 3, 2012
- Veterans Day – Monday, November 12, 2012
- Thanksgiving Break – Thursday, November 22, 2012 and
Friday, November 23, 2012 - Winter Break –Monday, December 24, 2012 (half-day),
Tuesday, December 25, 2012, Wednesday, December 26, 2012, Thursday, December 27, 2012 and Friday, December 28, 2012
New Year’s Day will be observed Tuesday, January 1, 2013.
There may be minimum staffing necessary in some areas during Winter Break.
Please note that offices will remain open on Lincoln's Birthday, Washington’s Birthday, and Admission's Day and Columbus Day. SDSU Research Foundation will close offices November 23, and December 26, 27, and 28 in lieu of these holidays. Eligible employees therefore do not accrue holiday credit for hours worked on the standard holiday. The in-lieu holidays will be treated as the regular holidays.
The personal holiday bank will be credited in January of each year for eligible employees.
