FIPS Keyword List Form
SDSU Research Foundation's Office of Communications manages a database of faculty research interests, which allows us to match available grant announcements with the appropriate individuals. Announcements are then sent to faculty via e-mail. This service is provided to SDSU faculty, staff and SDSU Research Foundation employees only.
If you are not currently on our Faculty Interest Profile System (FIPS), please view the FIPS Keyword List (Printer Friendly Word Doc 274 KB). From this list, choose a maximum of 20 keywords that best describe your research interests. Complete the FIPS form (Printer Friendly Word Doc 36 KB) and send the finished form to the Communications Office via intercampus mail (Mailcode 1930) or attach it to an e-mail.
In making your selections, consider balancing your research interests with the volume of funding opportunities you will receive. It is safe to assume that you will receive a large volume of opportunities if you select 20 keywords.
