SMARTS (SPIN Matching and Research Transmittal Service)

SMARTS (The SPIN Matching And Research Transmittal Service) is an automated daily alerts system that notifies investigators of relevant new programs that match their keyword profiles. SMARTS pushes relevant funding opportunities to users saving them precious time and effort, while ensuring they are kept abreast of the latest programs in their areas of interest. All faculty and staff at San Diego State University who are interested in finding and applying for grants and who have not previously registered for our Faculty Interest Profile System (FIPS) are encouraged to use this system.
