  • Assess risk and identify expenditure review standards to eliminate 100% document review.
  • Develop user-oriented processes.
  • Continue quality improvement efforts such as process mapping.

Enhance existing applications to streamline operations and provide a higher level of service.

  • Continually examine core processes and structure to identify inefficiencies and define areas and practices that can be streamlined.
  • Develop benchmarking metrics to measure performance and improvement in serving our customers and stakeholders.
  • Infuse flexibility, creativity and responsiveness into Foundation processes to meet challenges and the changing needs of our stakeholders.
  • Implement Banner upgrades as appropriate.

Foster operational excellence through the use of information technology to improve the accessibility and timeliness of services.

  • Implement grants.gov.
  • Keep software and equipment current.
  • Provide training on the various electronic programs.

Ensure the continued operation of critical processes, resource and asset protection, and loss mitigation in the event of a disruption.

  • Address issues such as emergency response procedures, crisis management, and crisis communication.
  • Update disaster recovery and resumption of business operations plans.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessments.
