- Assess risk and identify expenditure review standards to eliminate 100% document review.
- Develop user-oriented processes.
- Continue quality improvement efforts such as process mapping.
Enhance existing applications to streamline operations and provide a higher level of service.
- Continually examine core processes and structure to identify inefficiencies and define areas and practices that can be streamlined.
- Develop benchmarking metrics to measure performance and improvement in serving our customers and stakeholders.
- Infuse flexibility, creativity and responsiveness into Foundation processes to meet challenges and the changing needs of our stakeholders.
- Implement Banner upgrades as appropriate.
Foster operational excellence through the use of information technology to improve the accessibility and timeliness of services.
- Implement grants.gov.
- Keep software and equipment current.
- Provide training on the various electronic programs.
Ensure the continued operation of critical processes, resource and asset protection, and loss mitigation in the event of a disruption.
- Address issues such as emergency response procedures, crisis management, and crisis communication.
- Update disaster recovery and resumption of business operations plans.
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessments.
