Purpose
- The purpose of SDSU Research Foundation is to further the educational, research and community service mission of San Diego State University.
Values
- Commitment to the University and the community
We will serve as a resource to the University supporting and advancing the University's research agenda. We will address and respond to the needs of the campus community, develop strong relationships, and create opportunities for partnership. We will strive to establish effective communication with both the University and the community.
- Client service and satisfaction
Quality service is an integral component and trademark of SDSU Research Foundation. We will focus on those we serve and be attentive to their needs. We will listen to our colleagues, sponsors and the community about their expectations and we will respond in a courteous and efficient manner.

Central to the success of any organization are its people. We will develop and foster a highly-talented staff who are engaged, productive and committed to fulfilling the Foundation's mission. We are committed to creating opportunities for individuals to realize their full potential.
