Benefit Description
Upon meeting eligibility criteria:
- SDSU Research Foundation will contribute 10% of employee's salary per pay period into retirement plan
- Contributions are immediately 100%
vested
- Employee decides how monies are invested among different investment options offered through SDSURF with TIAA-CREF
Eligibility Requirement
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Hourly, regular, and other options employees who have worked 1,000 hours in a benefit year
- Additional employment employees who have worked 500 hours in a calendar year
Eligibility Date
- For hourly, regular, and other options employees, 1st of month following the completion of 1,000 hours of service in a benefit year
- For additional employment employees, 1st of the month following the completion of 500 hours in a calendar year
