Annual TDA Limits For Calendar Year 2011
Employees are able to contribute a portion of annual salary up to certain limits. Review the table below to determine your annual deferral limit.
2011
- Less than age 50: The lesser of 100% of pay up to $16,500
- Age 50 and over: The lesser of 100% of pay up to $22,000
Are You Employed By SDSU and SDSU Research Foundation?
If you are employed at both SDSU and SDSU Research Foundation, the amount you can tax defer between both employers could double. Contact TIAA-CREF for additional information at 1-800-842-2776.
It's Easy To Start Contributions
- Review SDSU Research Foundation's Voluntary 403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity (TDA) Program. (pdf Format, 90KB)*
- Select an investment company among the companies listed. If you select TIAA-CREF, you can now immediately enroll online through SDSURF's TIAA-CREF Microsite. On the web page, click the “Enroll Now!” button on the right. To enroll online scroll down to the “Enroll Online” section and review the information regarding investment choices. Once you have all required information, click on “San Diego State University Foundation Tax Deferred Annuity Program” and follow the prompts to enroll. Note: If you don’t wish to enroll online, scroll down to the “Enroll by Mail” section. Click on “San Diego State University Foundation Tax Deferred Annuity Plan”. Print, complete and submit the form to: SDSU Research Foundation, Human Resources Department at 5250 Campanile Drive, San Diego, CA 92182-1945 or Mail Code 1945. However, if you wish to make contributions to another investment company offered by SDSURF, contact them directly for enrollment materials. Submit the original enrollment form to that investment company and a photocopy to SDSURF's Human Resources Office (MC 1945).
- Complete the Salary Reduction Agreement for Voluntary Tax-Deferred Annuity Program (Word Format, 402KB)* and return it to SDSURF's Human Resources Office (MC 1945) for final approval and execution.
