How to Apply

Applications are only accepted for current vacancies and must be received in SDSU Research Foundation Human Resources Office by 4:00 pm on the published closing date. Applications for full–time and part–time pool positions are accepted on a continuing basis. A separate application is required for each job announcement number. Applications without job announcement numbers will not be accepted. Some positions may require supplemental questions.

It is to the applicant's advantage to submit your application online. All certificates required must be provided to Human Resources before the closing date of the position.

Applications are reviewed by Human Resources and the hiring department. The stated skills and knowledge are used as general guidelines in determining the relevancy of experience when considering individual applications. If there is an interest in your qualifications, you will be contacted within six to eight weeks. Typically, applicants not selected for an interview are not notified. The status of an application submitted online can be viewed by logging in to the SDSU Research Foundation Job Listings. Use the username and password created when the application was submitted. We regret that we cannot personally provide information about the status of specific applications. All offers of employment and starting dates are subject to availability of funding. Some positions may require pre-employment screenings.

    SDSU Research Foundation is located on the campus of San Diego State University off Interstate 8. Human Resources is located on the fourth floor of the Gateway Center at 5250 Campanile Drive, on the corner of Campanile Drive and Hardy Avenue. Applications are accepted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Supplemental Questions

The announcements for certain positions may indicate that supplemental questions are required. These additional questions assist in identifying the applicant best qualified for the position.


Selection Procedures

A limited number of those applying will be invited for an interview. Applications may, in some cases, be accepted after the closing date until the position is filled.
