Carrier Outreach Notification

Delta Dental, Kaiser, and PacifiCare Outreach to Members

You may have recently been contacted by one of SDSURF's health and dental plan carriers regarding your preferred language preferences and/or other insurance information. Each carrier is working together with the Department of Insurance and the Department of Managed Care in support of California's Senate Bill 853, Language Assistance Program, to ensure that language is not an obstacle in receiving proper care. The language preference information collected through the survey will only be used to improve their products and services and to meet regulatory reporting requirements. This information will not be sold or used for other commercial purposes.

The inquiry regarding other insurance coverage you or your family may have is designed to ensure proper payments from each carrier, and will ultimately help to keep your plan costs down.

We encourage you to participate and provide the information as requested. The decision to participate, however, is yours.
