New Faces in Human Resources
Kelly Milne – Associate Director of Human Resources
Kelly Milne has assumed the position of SDSU Research Foundation Associate Director of Human Resources.
The Associate Director of Human Resources is primarily responsible for the day–to–day operations of the various functional areas within Human Resources such as employee relations, benefit plans, compensation administration, recruitment, affirmative action and workers' compensation.
For eleven years before joining SDSURF, Kelly Milne was the Director of Human Resources at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, an independent non-profit research institute. In that role, she was responsible for all aspects of human resources, and played a key role on the management team. Prior to SKCC, Kelly was employed with the University of California at both Los Angeles and San Diego.
Kelly earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology from UCLA, and will be completing her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at SDSU in May 2008. She is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management and has earned the designation of a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

Amy Pinion – HR Front Desk Coordinator
You can find Amy at the front desk in HR. Amy and her husband just relocated to San Diego. She joins us with extensive background in Customer Service and has a BS in Biology. She enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking and basking in the San Diego sunshine.
