
Call for Nominations!
The Frea E. Sladek Outstanding Service Awards honor SDSU Research Foundation employees who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to our organization. The program bears the name of former CEO Frea E. Sladek, a national leader in research administration who dedicated 37 years to enriching the research program at SDSU and beyond.
All Central Staff and Project Employees are eligible, including directors and managers. Employees must have at least 3 years of consecutive service to be eligible.
The nominee should have demonstrated outstanding performance in one or more of the following areas:
Nominators must be principal investigators or central staff managers. Nominators shall complete a nomination form and letter and submit them to Renée Daniels, Chair, Frea E. Sladek Outstanding Service Awards Committee, by April 25, 2008. The Executive Management Team will evaluate all nominations and make recommendations to the SDSURF Senior Executive Team, which will make the final decision.
Award winners will be notified by the CEO and will be invited as guests of honor to an awards luncheon.
Employees will receive an Outstanding Service Award plaque at the awards luncheon. Their names will be showcased in a special display hung in the SDSU Research Foundation third floor reception area as a lasting tribute to their service.
