Subject: New PI Profile Enhancement Provides Streamlined Month-end Reporting
I am pleased to report the implementation of a new enhancement to PI Profile, SDSU Research Foundation's web-based financial system. This enhancement provides Month-end report data for all your funds from one query. It is no longer necessary to access each report from within the individual fund queries. The Month-end report queries can be accessed from the PI Profile Main Menu as follows:
- Log in to PI Profile https://piprofile.sdsu.edu:4443/PI_Profile.html
- Input user name and password.
- Selecting the Month-end button returns the following form.
- The Month-end Report Selection area lets you select the month of the report, active or closed status and the output format.
- When the active button is selected, a list of active funds will be available in the Fund drop down list. To view closed funds, select the Closed button.
- Each report option for that selected fund will now be available from this query.
- To view the Month-end reports for a different fund, select a different fund from the drop down list and the reports will be immediately available for viewing.
- Month-end reports can still be accessed from the individual fund queries.
This enhancement was developed with the input of our PI Profile Advisory Group, which is comprised of project staff volunteers. We sincerely appreciated the time these volunteers have taken to help us improve our web-based financial accounting system.
