This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of a college student to provide technical support in a professional information technology field. Student will undergo supervised practical training in a professional information technology field. The PC Technician intern will assist PC Technicians in day-to-day tasks such as setting up PCs, assisting users, hardware and software upgrades, unboxing inventory, etc.
Undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an information technology program at an accredited College or University. Student must have knowledge of Windows XP, MS Office and other PC hardware and software experience and knowledge.
Rancho Bernardo
One or more years of progressive personal computer technical experience in an Information Technology department. Requires a working knowledge of current personal computers, relevant operating systems and associated peripheral equipment. Must be customer focused and demonstrate the ability: to resolve semi-routine technical situations; communicate with all levels of personnel; and, explain general information. Must have a valid California class B driver’s license and able to work extended hours as required.
