Federal law requires that all new employees must sign in with the SDSURF Human Resources department ON or BEFORE the FIRST day of work. You must report to Human Resources to complete the necessary paperwork in order to be paid. Refer to HR New Hires to determine what documents you will need to bring with you. If you wish to receive your wages via direct deposit, bring a void check or deposit slip for each account you wish to deposit your payroll check. Refer to Direct Deposit Questions for additional information.
On the first day of employment, see your Principal Investigator or supervisor, and complete all forms which you are given. Don't delay! Bring this paperwork with you when you visit the SDSURF Human Resources department to complete the balance of employment documents. You are not eligible for payment until all documents have been received.
