Summary
Horizon Health's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services Manager/Supervisor Training focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary to
intervene with employees whose personal problems are affecting job performance, and guides managers and supervisors on how to effectively motivate employees to seek help through the EAP.
After participating in this training, managers and supervisors will
have a thorough understanding of the EAP, and be able to:
- Identify warning signs of personal problems affecting job performance.
- Understand and apply a constructive approach to intervening and motivating the employee to seek help.
- Use the EAP referral process as a way to offer help to employees.
An overview of Horizon Health’s Organizational Risk Management Center will also be given.
