We Are Changing the Way We Work Due to COVID-19
At Cal Wellness, the health and wellness of California communities are top concerns. As we all navigate the changing circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to assure you that we will remain responsive to you and will continue our grantmaking to support community needs. So, how are we working to address this public health threat?
We're Changing the Way We Work
Like many of you, we’re tracking public health recommendations on workplace practices to inform decisions that will help ensure the health and safety of our staff. To do our part to slow the spread of the virus, we’ve implemented several social distancing practices. We are:
- Suspending all business travel by plane, train or other high-density transportation;
- Conducting virtual grantee site visits in place of in-person ones;
- Not attending large events in our roles as Cal Wellness staff; and,
- Working from home while our offices are temporarily closed from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 27.
We'll remain open for business though we are temporarily working remotely.
If you are a grantee and have any questions, please reach out to us through info@calwellness.org, which we will be checking daily.
We’re Responding to Community Needs
We know COVID-19 is a public health crisis that’s impacting families, businesses and communities across California. We’re asking community partners what’s needed and then moving resources to organizations mobilizing efforts across the state. Click the button below to find resources to help you stay informed. And please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or to share your ideas on how we can work together to support health and wellness during this turbulent time.
Warmly,
The Cal Wellness Team
