Executive Office and Communications

The Executive Office, led by Michèle G. Goetz, Associate Vice President and CEO of SDSU Research Foundation, is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of SDSURF, including facilities planning and management, human resources and risk management, sponsored research services, finance and operations, information systems, and communications. Michèle works closely with the university to ensure support for the research mission and our researchers.

Communications is responsible for both internal and external communications, including with SDSU principal investigators, employees, and other internal and external audiences. The communications staff are also responsible for issues and crisis communications, publications, reports, trainings, and web and social content. This office works closely with SDSU’s marketing, communications, and media relations teams to support and highlight the work of SDSU researchers.
