PUBLIC ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING WILL BE VIA ZOOM ONLY
To attend the SDSURF Research Support Funds Ad Hoc Committee (RSF Ad Hoc Committee), please use the following Zoom Meeting ID: 884 0914 5730. If you elect to attend the meeting, you will be responsible for ensuring that your internet connection is operable and of sufficient quality to ensure that you are able to hear and view the proceedings of the Meeting.
It is expected that the number of members of the public interested in attending this meeting will exceed the Board Room's permitted capacity, as established by the Fire Marshal. The SDSURF RSF Ad Hoc Committee is aware of its obligation to ensure the meeting is open and public, and to ensure all persons are permitted to attend. Therefore, to ensure that all members of the public have equal access to attend, including commenting during the portion designated on the agenda for public comment, members of the public (i.e., persons other than the RSF Committee members and Research Foundation staff) will only be able to attend via remote access through Zoom.
By arranging for members of the public to attend the meeting only via Zoom, we intend that all individuals attending have equal opportunity to observe the materials presented and hear the discussion, and that no individual is being disadvantaged or advantaged based on ability to attend in person (or vice versa). Other than those speaking during the period for public comment (see below), members of the public attending the Meeting will be muted on Zoom.
Public Comment
Requests to participate in the public comment section of the February 6, 2026, Research Support Funds Ad Hoc Committee meeting can be made by completing the Request for Public Comment form. The agenda provides for a 30-minute period for public comment. Each person making a public comment will be allotted three minutes, which means there will be a maximum of 10 slots available for making public comments. Requests to make public comments will be granted in the order received. You will be informed by email whether you were among the first 10 people submitting a request to comment, and your number in the queue (e.g., whether you are speaking first, second, third, etc.).
If you are among the persons commenting, you will be responsible for ensuring that your microphone is operable and is of sufficient quality to ensure that your comments are able to be heard through the Zoom link by the members of the committee and the other members of the public attending through the Zoom link. The committee requests, but does not require, that your video camera be on during the time you are addressing the meeting.
